“Salaah in Jama’ah is 27 times superior to Salaah performed
individually.”
“People frequenting the Masjid are its pegs (dwellers).
Angels are their companions & visit them when they are sick &
help them when they are at their jobs.”
Umm Humaid as-Sa'diyah came to the messenger of Allah and
said "Yaa Rusoolullah, I love to pray with you." the Prophet SAW
said: "I am aware of that, but your salaah in your home is better
for you than your salaah in your local mosque. And your salaah in
your local mosque is better than your salaah in the [larger]
congregational mosque." {At-Tabarani}
“If one wishes to meet Allah on the Day of Judgement as a
Muslim,
he must say his Salaah at a place where Adhaan is called, viz., a
Masjid, as Allah has prescribed through His Nabee (SAW) such
practices which are nothing but guidance through & through, and
Salaah (in Jama’ah) is one of them.
If you start saying your Salaah at your houses (as such & such is
doing),
Then you will be discarding the Sunnah of the Nabee (SAW) thus
you may go astray…..”
If a person prays Salaah in Jama’ah for 40 days without missing
the 1st Takbir, he will be protected from Jahannam & Nifaq.
An Nabee (SAW) is reported to have said; “I wish I could ask the
boys to collect a huge quantity of firewood for me
And then I would go around & set fire to the homes of those who
say their Salaah in their houses without any strong excuse.”
Aisha Ummul Mu'minin RA said: "Had Allah's Apostle (peace be
upon him) known what the women were doing, he would have
forbidden them from going to the mosque as the women of Banu
Israel had been forbidden." {Bukhari}
